I’m going to mention this in my review of Doctor Who, but you know the line: “Never trust a nun to do a Doctor’s work”, which the Doctor said to Tasa(?) when she didn’t do what he wanted?
Well, Doctor Who was on after a show called Call The Midwife, which is about midwives in the 1960s, and the nuns who were trained as nurses and helped deliver babies and run medical clinics.
So the line “Never trust a nun to do a Doctor’s work” came immediately after an hour and a half of nuns doing doctors’ work (and saving numerous lives).
The irony is killing me.
